Ingredients

So really all it takes to make this face mask is 2 ingredients, honey, and coconut oil.

You can use lavender essential oils but that is optional.

To make this face mask, you need:

2 teaspoons coconut oil
1.5 teaspoons raw, unpasteurized honey
1-2 drops lavender essential oil (optional)

Directions

Combine raw honey and virgin unrefined coconut oil into a bowl and mix.

If the mixture is too watery, you can put it in the fridge for 5 to 10 minutes so it thickens.

Once it is hardened slightly, remove it from the fridge and whip it again.

After cleaning your skin, apply your DIY honey and coconut oil face mask to your face.

Use your fingers in small circular motions.

Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes.

To remove, simply use a washcloth soaked in warm water.

You can let the washcloth sit on your face for 10-20 seconds, and then gently wipe away the mask.

Rinse and repeat if needed.

Tips and Tricks

I recommend using virgin coconut oil and raw honey for your skin, as these contain the best natural nutrients for you and your body.

Make sure that the coconut oil isn’t hard but also not completely melted. You want to be able to stir it.

If the honey is too hard, you can heat it up in the microwave for 2 seconds so it is more manageable.
