Oh, Ted Talks! When it comes to Ted Talks, there are so many different topics to choose from.
You can get Ted talks on motivation, inspiration, happiness, your purpose in life, tech, science, addiction, dance, failures in life, law, medicine, natural disasters, even Ebola!
The list goes on and on.
Which is why people love them.
But, if you ask someone who has watched a Ted Talk they will most likely tell you about how a Ted Talk Topic changed their lives for their better or awakened them to things going on in the world they had no clue about.
In fact, I am one of those people and I even have an article on this site that gives you 10 Ted Talks That Will Change Your Life Right Now!
Listening to those talks have made me understand my thoughts, my processes, and how to overcome mental challenges love myself more.
But, that’s neither here nor there.
The Ted Talk topic that I feel is least talked about is Ted Talks that are Funny.
Ted Talks that make you laugh.
Have you ever heard anyone say, “Omgosh you have to see this Ted Talk, it’s so freaking funny?”.
I sure have not and honestly, the thought of funny doesn’t correlate to Ted talks in my mind.
So, I wondered if there were any out there.
So I searched, and searched, and did I mention, I searched?
While doing all of my searchings, I actually stumbled upon some.
In fact, I stumbled upon several.
These Ted talks will have you feeling better in no time!
Not because they are so powerful and their words are so impactful, but mainly because it will have you laughing!
And we all know laughing definitely helps to cure the blues!
Ted Talks Topics that are Funny
These Ted talk topics are not about laughter specifically but they are funny.
The charisma and charm behind the speakers are infectious and you will be reliving their stories and life right along with them.
These talks will give you all the feel-good feelings and make you forget about what exactly you felt down about.
These Ted talk topics will have you laughing and wondering, “Where in the heck have you been all my life and why am I now just finding out that some Ted Talks are actually funny?”.
I know this is quite bold to say, but some of these talks are funnier than a lot of TV shows that are on tv now!
In fact, because they are so funny, they come with a warning!

I love how Maysoon makes light of the fact that she has palsy.
Her humor, wit, and stories instantly connect you on her journey and make for one funny Ted talk.
In fact, her talk starts off with her comparison of, “I’m like Shakira meets Muhammed Ali”.
Using here humor, she instantly lightens up the room and you are no longer seeing her as a person who shakes but just as a person.
2. More Than Funny | Michael Jr.
Michael Jr is a comedian and starts off telling you that “Imma do some jokes.” Right away you know that you are not in for the typical Ted Talk, or are you?
His jokes are funny but at the same time, he schools you on how jokes are set up and how they work.
You won’t even realize that you are learning something deeper than what he is presenting.
Michael shows you that life is just like how a joke is set up. You can change the direction of anything that life gives you into a way that brings joy, happiness, and clarification to you or anyone who is around you.
3. Inside the Mind of a Master Procrastinator | Tim Urban
Hi, my name is Ree and I was a master procrastinator. Especially throughout college, which was some years ago. (I’m not giving the exact years because I don’t want to age myself lol).
Anyways, I have gotten really better and now I see that doing things a little bit earlier instead of last-minute does make my work better, my stress levels go down, and increases my performance.
Tim Urban takes us through his journey as a procrastinator and how it affected him in such a funny way.
You will identify with him at every step of his journey or should I say his YouTube binges and Wikipedia holes. (Yup, I’ve done those too and sometimes still do, to be honest.)
Although Tim shares his stories of procrastination and the outcomes of them, he also warns us.
He wants us to figure out why is it that we are procrastinating.
He wants us to figure it out before we procrastinate too much and run out of time.

You hear about people who fall for absurd emails that are obviously spam.
Emails such as sending in $10,000 so you won’t be thrown into jail because you parked your car in an illegal place last week.
But have you seen how to spam a spammer?
Seriously, if you haven’t then you have to watch this hilarious YouTube video on how to do it!
You will definitely learn a thing or two, or three and send those annoyingly, ruthless, spammers down a rabbit hole so deep that they will never reach out to you again!

So the first spamming video was so good and so funny that they invited James back to Ted Talks to do it again.

We have all had our mishaps when it comes to technology.
Perhaps you were like me and sent a personal email to the whole office, almost broke a dishwasher because you put in dish soap, or typing in a certain word in Google images to find out that it is totally not what you expected or wanted to see!
Chuck Nice, who is a comedian, goes into a lot of funny consequences of what happens to us when technology doesn’t work like it’s supposed to!

First off, I dare you to watch this video with the sound off. I bet you will get the perception that WIll must be a genius on how to sound smart.
Next, turn on the sound and you will be mesmerized at what you really learned!
This talk is a sight to see and something amazing for your ears to hear!
8. The Agony of Trying to Unsubscribe | James Veitch
Yes, this is the third time James is on this list which means if you have not checked out the other two videos I posted, then you have to check this one out.
This dude is seriously funny!
I love how he takes things we all find annoying and make them hilarious.
In this video James talks about the agony of trying to unsubscribe from an email list who’s company continued to send emails without his permission.
9. Laughter is Medicine | Anjelah Johnson
Anjelah is pretty amazing!
She’s so down to earth and her stories are one of a kind. So much so you may think that she made them up. But, that is not the case at all!
Her stories and her approachable demeanor will remind you that laughter really is medicine.
10. Stereotypes Funny Because They are True | Katerina Vrana
Whether you believe that stereotypes have some truth to them or not, this won’t stop you from laughing your butt off.
Katerina makes us believe that stereotypes are funny because they do have some truth behind them.
She shares personal stories with inconvenient truths and family secrets that will have you filled with laughter and starting to think, “Maybe she does have a point”.
